Differences between people in the workplace are often a cause of tension and conflict. That is, until we begin to understand that there is a natural reason for some of these differences. Once we understand, we can actually begin to value the differences rather than be irritated by them.
- Discover information about yourself, your patterns of thinking and behaving, and have a good time doing it. The Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the DISC Behavioral Inventory are the basis of discussion.
- Become less critical of those who think differently than you and help those people to become less critical of you. Understanding and knowledge really is liberating, and you will be set free of criticism and judgment of others. A more peaceful, rewarding personal and professional life is the by-product.
- Embrace differences. You will be empowered to move beyond acceptance of differences, and you will learn to see the value inherent in those differences.
